CES (Consumer Electronic Show) 2014 is coming up and every manufacturer is busy introducing their own products and Nvidia announced it’s latest mobile GPU dubbed as the “K1” chip which features 192 CUDA cores.
What’s really interesting is that this chip is based on the Kepler(TM) architecture which powers world’s fastest GPU’s such as NVIDIA GeForce(R) GTX(TM) 780 Ti.
This could mean that next generation PC gaming would be made available for Mobile platforms which will revolutionize the smartphone industry
Over the past two decades, NVIDIA invented the GPU and has developed more graphics technologies than any other company. With Tegra K1, we’re bringing that heritage to mobile. It bridges the gap for developers, who can now build next-gen games and apps that will run on any device.

The K1 also supports Unreal Engine 4, DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.4.The K1 will deliver same graphic features as next-gen consoles (Xbox One, PlayStation 4) all in the palm of your hand.Stay tuned to androdollar and we’ll keep you updated about what’s going on at CES, Las Vegas.
