Previously we saw Windows 95 running on Android Wear powered Samsung Gear Live Smartwatch. The Video was first made by EpicLPer. Today we heard that he has tried to to run Playstation 1 games on a LG G Watch. Guess what; The games work!
Checkout the Video here,
The original PlayStation came with a 33.9MHz RISC CPU, 2MB of RAM, and a 1MB GPU unit capable of basic 3D texture mapping and rendering, so this might not come as a big surprise for some. The LG G Watch, on the other hand, has good specs when compared with the first Playstation. The LG G Watch has a single-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, clocking at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and an Adreno 305 GPU on board, running at 450MHz.
EpicLPer has also managed to run one of the most popular PlayStation emulators for Android, ePSXe on Android Wear. Either way, this is just to show that it is possible, just like last time with Windows 95, because I highly doubt any one would try to play PS1 games on a 1.6″ Screen.
What do you guys think? Pretty Cool huh?
