Google has made Android 5.0 Lollipop official, and they have also released the source code for Android Lollipop so people can make use of that and make firmwares. It seems like LG has been working hard to give the LG G3 users a treat by releasing the Lollipop Update with their Optimus UI on top. We have now got the First leaked screenshots that show this in action.
UPDATE 2 : A new Video has leaked showing the Lollipop update running on the LG G3.
UPDATE 1 : A Video has Leaked showing the LG G3 running Android Lollipop. The user notes that the ROM is an early build and not very stable. Also, it is only intended for the F400S variant of the G3. You can flash it if you have a F400S, LG G3. Check XDA.
Checkout Lollipop against Kitkat on the G3.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE : From the first glance you clearly see the transparency in the Notifications area and the style of Notifications LG is trying to use with Lollipop; though the app drawer and the other settings look quite similar. This is somewhat similar to what’s going to happen with the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 like we saw previously.
The UI is reportedly smoother and features the animations and effects for Android Lollipop to fit the Material design. We also see the user profile on the top Right side just like on Stock Lollipop.
It’s possible for things to change as we have heard these are images of an early build. LG told that they will release the Update for the LG G3 “Before the End of 2014” so that’s not that far ahead.
So, Are you using a LG G3? What changes would you like to see on the Lollipop Update of the LG G3? Are you happy with what you see here? Let me know down below in the comments section.
