The Motorola Moto E has been churning in the rumor mill since April, Its specifications were leaked, suggesting it could be the device that the company is going to announce at its May 13 event.
Indian import data website Zauba let loose the price of the company’s upcoming affordable smartphone. A total of 1300 Moto E smartphones were shipped on May 3 in Bangalore, India with a total value of $137,017 (INR 8,229,293). This makes up for a wholesale price per unit of $105 (INR 6,330).
But obviously we can’t expect such a low price as the retailers will pile a few bucks on top, final price of the phone will be around the $120 mark. whatever the cost will be we will come to know on the 13th of May.
And for your money, the Moto E is said to offer a 4.3″ display with an unknown resolution (possibly sub-720p), a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of memory, which is likely expandable. At the back, there’s going to be a 5MP camera and a 1,900mAh battery. The phone packs an FM Radio and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
Furthermore, the leaked specifications suggest the Moto E measures 124.8 x 64.8 x 6.2mm, which is truly impressive considering the Moto X and the Moto G are 10.4mm and 11.6mm thick, respectively. this is going to be one slim phone for sure.
