We’re still waiting for the release of the first Smart-phone with a QHD (2K) Display. This will most probably be Oppo with the Find 7, but LG is not going to stand down as it seems. It seems that it’s LG G3 is going to have a 2K Display as well. @Evleaks leaked out a Picture of The UAProf details the LG D850 aka G3 yesterday that seemed to offer support for the idea of the G3 getting a 2560 x 1440 screen, and now we have screenshot to check out, similarly confirming that QHD Display.
Still, we’re still no sure of such rumours after being disappointed by the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2, both phones rumoured to have QHD screens. That said, the LG G3 is supposed to have a 5.5″ screen, which sounds more believable for this resolution, certain 5.5″ phablets are supposed to use this resolution.
The LG G3 is supposed to be announced in May and we will know exactly then.
