The highlighting feature on the Galaxy Note 8 is the dual camera setup at the back. This is the first time a Samsung device is packing dual cameras at the back and that’s why it’s so special. The Note 8 features two 12MP sensors. One sensor is a wide angle f/1.7 lens and the other is a f/2.4 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and you can digitally zoom up to 10x. Good thing here is that both sensors are optically stabilized, therefore it will work great when shooting pictures and videos when moving or at low light situations. Due to the dual cameras, Samsung has bundled in a feature called Live Focus, which allows you to adjust the background blur of a photo either before you hit the shutter key or later on from the gallery. The front facing camera is a 8MP sensor with an apature of f/1.7.

You’ll be glad to hear that Samsung kept the 3.5mm audio jack, which is enhanced with AKG audio just like with the Galaxy S8 & S8+. Wireless connectivity offers gigabit speeds on two fronts – Cat. 16 LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac MIMO.
The new flagship is powered by a 3,300mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the battery found on the S8+. Fast Wired and Wiresless charging is also present on the device.
