One thing Samsung always didn’t get right was the speakers and the current flagships the S7 and the S7 Edge also fell really short when it came to the speaker performance. It looks like Samsung is going to fix it next time with Stereo speakers. Not just Stereo speakers, according to the latest rumor the S8 will feature HARMAN branded Stereo Speakers.
According to the latest leaks and rumors, Samsung will be introducing two versions of the Galaxy S8 smartphone, one with a 6.2-inch bezel-less display and a 5.7-inch variant with a curved display with model numbers – SM-G950 and SM-G955. There was also an idea of having 2 rear cameras but we learnt recently that it won’t be happening and the S8 will feature a single camera. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 or Samsung Exynos 8895 10nm SoCs and pack 6GB RAM as well.
The latest report suggests both flavors of the Galaxy S8 will come with stereo speakers. Samsung recently acquired Harman for $8 billion, so this doesn’t come to us as a surprise. Previously, a Samsung rep confirmed that the Galaxy devices in the future will make use of Harman’s tech, but not before 2018.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to go official in February and be officially out in March. Do you think having great speakers will make you buy the S8?
