Lenovo has partnered up with Abans to launch the latest Vibe series smartphones dubbed the Lenovo K5 and K5 Note in Sri Lanka. These smartphones are made with great features but with an attractive price. The team from Lenovo and Abans invited me to checkout these latest smartphones at their launch event held at Ozo Colombo today (21st of October) and I got some hands on time with everything they had to offer as well. I was posting tweets live during the event over at @AndroDollar and @banuathuraliya as well as providing a story on Instagram live as well.
The key phone they are trying to push is the K5 Note which has a 5.5″ 1080p screen. The regular K5 has a 5″ display.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has a full metal body that comes in black, white, and gold colors. The K5 Note also rocks a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M with 4x 1.8GHz + 4x 1GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T860 GPU, a choice of 3GB RAM, 32GB storage expandable to 128GB, fingerprint sensor, 3500mAh battery, and Android Marshmallow. It has a 13 megapixel camera on the back with phase detection autofocus and 8 megapixel camera on the front.
Checkout the specifications of the latest smartphones below.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is priced at Rs. 36,990 and the K5 is priced at Rs.24,900 and can be purchased from Abans. Abans representatives informed me that they will be offering installment schemes as well.
If Abans is willing to provide me with a Review Unit, I will be producing a video as well. I think this will be a great budget smartphone.
Feel free to share the news with your friends as well.
