OnePlus launched the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X this year and according to the rumors the next OnePlus device we will see is the OnePlus 3, and it will be unveiled in 2016. An alleged render of the OnePlus 3 has been leaked revealing key design aspects of the device, which shows some interesting changes.
These leaked images show a device with a brushed metal back. This is a depart from the Sandstone backing OnePlus used with the OnePlus One and OnePlus Two.
We see that the renders are showing the device having front facing speakers as well, which will be quite a good thing if it what’s coming next. The dedicated fingerprint reader on the front that was on the OnePlus 2 appears to be gone too.
As you see the images show two different color versions, though the mirror-like facade of one of them doesn’t look too likely.
According to the early rumors, hardware wise the OnePlus 3 will pack a Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is also rumored that the OnePlus 3 will pack a 1080p display, but we could see OnePlus using a QHD display as well.
These are early rumors, and we can’t come to any conclusions now.Take the images and the details of the post with a pinch of salt. The OnePlus 3 won’t be released anytime soon, but when it is released it sure will pack a lot.
So what do you think of these renders? Like it?
