Google held a special event today to unveil the brand new Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P & Pixel C; and they announced the official rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Starting next week, the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 will start receiving the new Android version.
Marshmallow was first released to the public back at Google I/O as Android M and I even made a video showcasing the new features of the Android M Developer Preview.
The key aspects which Android M will target are based over user’s Web Experience, different App Permissions, App Links and much more. For more info on what’s new with Android M, check out my other article where I go over all the new features here.
Google Now on Tap is a full-blown digital assistant and can answer questions and understand natural language questions. Third-party app developers can use it too. It’s going to be pretty cool.
Google also unveiled the Android Marshmallow statue at the Google HQ a few weeks ago, after revealing the official name of Android M.
