We have heard many times that the Galaxy Note 5 & S6 Edge+ will be unveiled on the 13th of August, and Samsung has confirmed it by sending out press invitations. This time around the new devices will be launched at a new Unpacked event in New York City.
Samsung is stepping up the game by launching the Note 5 early this time around. Usually they launch the Note line at IFA, but this time reports say that Sammy is launching it early to get a head start over the iPhone 6S Plus.
The simple image that Samsung is using as an invitation to the event hints that we’re going to see a device with a curved display, and that is the S6 Edge+.

The Note 5 is rumored to pack a 5.7″ QHD Display, Exynos 7422 SoC, 4GB of Ram, 16MP Camera with OIS and a 4100mAh battery. The Note 5 will also feature the mighty S-Pen. The S6 Edge+, which will also feature similar specifications, but a smaller 3000mAh Battery.
