Today there was a Major leak in South Korea. A product page of the LG G4 with a number of official images and specs went live for several hours. It has already been taken down.
According to this leak, the LG G4 will have a 5.5″ QHD (2K) Display with a Resolution of 1440 x 2560. The device will be powered by a removable 3000mAh battery and it will have a Micro SD Card Slot for expansion as well.
LG G4 sports a Slim Arc Design. It allows smartphone to feel naturally in hand despite sporting a massive 5.5” display.
The leak also mentions that the LG G4 will carry a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8. Considering that LG has already confirmed that the rear camera on the unit would be a 16MP snapper with an f/1.8 aperture. This part of the leak seems inaccurate.
The tipsters in Korea also say that the LG G4 will come out of the box with Android 4.4.2 pre-installed instead of Android 5.0. This seems highly unlikely and would be very strange for a brand new flagship phone. Incase you missed it, a GeekBench3 GPU test recently confirmed that the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 CPU will running the show, and an 8MP camera will be there at the front of the device. The LG G4 will be available in metallic black, silk white, shine gold, burgundy red and moon violet.
Some of these specifications sound a bit weird and strange but the leaked images look pretty accurate, this is why I would like you to take all of this as a Grain of salt.
The official unveiling of the LG G4 is set to April 28th and I will be covering it live, so stay tuned to Andro Dollar for the latest on that.
