We saw the HTC One M9 Leak out so many times, and I reported on everyone of them. Today at MWC 2015, HTC has finally unveiled the much anticipated HTC One M9 to the public.
The HTC One M9 has a Dual Tone Aluminium Unibody. It still looks Amazing, but you feel like little has changed, it maybe true but the face is they have made something that was good, much better. The HTC One M9 still has the Amazing Dual Boomsound speakers with Dolby Audio Tuning. The New One M9 is just 9.61mm thick and it is shorter and slightly narrower than its predecessor, the One (M8).
The HTC One M9 packs a 5″ Full HD Super LCD3 Display (1080 x 1920 pixels) with minor improvements on the technology and color rendering and it should help save some battery. This is HTC playing Safe.
The One M9 is powered by a Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC with the Adreno 430 GPU and it has 3GB of RAM. The HTC One M9 has a 2840mAh Battery. Fast charging is supported by default on the device, but the charger within the retail package is not a “fast charger”, so the user will have to separately buy on to utilize that feature. The HTC One M9 also packs 32GB of Storage, and it is expandable via Micro SD.
This time with the HTC One, they have upgraded the Camera Experience. That was the Major Week point of the One M8 in my opinion, but with the M9 they have fixed it. The HTC One M9 packs a 20MP Rear Camera with an Apature of F/2.2, and a 4MP Ultrapixel Camera. This is a very smart move. This way people will be able to get Sharp and Crisp Images from the Rear Camera, while taking decent low light shots (Specially useful for selfies) at night. This way they have a well balanced Camera. The maximum shooting resolution is 5376 x 3752 pixels, and the device is also able to shoot RAW images as well as Shoot 4K Videos. However, The device doesn’t have OIS for some reason. The Camera Lens on the HTC One M9 is protected by Sapphire glass.
Talking about the extra features, The HTC One M9 also has an IR blaster at the top, an MHL 3.0 port at the bottom, which will let you stream 4K footage to your TV with the respective adapter without a hitch. USB OTG is also supported.
Software-wise, The HTC One M9 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 on top. HTC has improved HTC Blinkfeed even further and it plays a Major role in the way the device works. HTC’s new Partnership with companies like Yelp now allows them to allow Blinkfeed to give updates based on the Location.
HTC has taken Themes to the next level with HTC Sense 7, and now you can change everything on your device just by a click. It’s similar to the experience found on MiUi and Cyanogenmod devices with the Theme Engine. According to HTC, There will also be a theme generator, which will support automatic theme generation by inputting just a single image which sounds really cool.
Another cool feature of the new HTC Sense 7 is the option to customize the navigation bar. On the New HTC One M9, you will be able to change the keyboard layout and put additional shortcuts of virtually anything. That’s going to be a major productive factor for many. HTC Sense 7 also supports BoomSound connect which allows the phone to combine its internal speakers with external ones for surround playback.
Have a Good Look at HTC Sense 7 from the Screenshots below.
The new HTC One M9 will be available in March, and it will be available in 4 Colours according to HTC. The new flagship will also come to all US Carriers by the end of this year as well.
In my opinion, The HTC One M9 is a Solid device overall in every way, and it deserves praise. So, Do you digg the HTC One M9? Let me know in the comments section below & Feel free to Share this with your friends.
