iOS 8 is out right now as a beta, and Developers can try it out; but the widly used irritation of iOS is iOS 7.1.1 and one of the biggest problems a lot of people had was the lack of a jailbreak. Now it looks like it has been made available.
This new method of jailbreaking has been introduced by Pangu, a Chinese development team. You need a windows PC for this to work. It is said that this will work with all iOS 7.1.1 devices. I have already done a Full How To Tutorial, so you can follow it here to get your phone Jailbroken.
The Supported devices are,
- iPad Air
- iPad mini
- iPad mini Retina
- iPad 4/3/2
- iPhone 5s
- iPhone 5c
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 4s
- iPhone 4
- iPod touch 5
The jailbreak is legit, and is confirmed to be working. According to iH8sn0w, the jailbreak tool installs both Cydia and a Chinese store with illegal apps, but thankfully does not contain any malware.
This is the first time a jailbreaking tool has been publicly introduced for iOS 7.1.1, even though we had heard a lot of rumors in the past.
Are you going to try it? If so you can follow my Tutorial. Drop a comment and let us know.
