It looks like LG is very close to unveil the LG G3. The LG G2 was first revealed in August of last year, rumours have been adamant that LG is moving its schedule up quite a bit for 2014, and that the presumed G3 could launch as soon as sometime this quarter. Before it gets here Officially, as always we have got another Leak. This time of a Screenshot & UA Profile. We’re still waiting to get a look at the hardware, but in the meantime we’ll have to survive with this. The picture is showing off what LG’s been working on for its Android skin.
The UI Appears to be quite Flat, and Minimum when compared to it’s current theme. This is a really good thing.
Once again, a supposed G3 screenshot seems to confirm the phone’s extended resolution. While we don’t see the full 2560 x 1440 that those last pics were in, the 2048 x 1232 here is clearly beyond 1080. The other odd bit is the aspect ratio, moving from 16:9 to closer to 15:9, though that may just be virtual buttons getting cut off.
But since A User Agent Profile information of the LG G3 has appeared on Sprint’s website, which shows a 2K display on board we have to assume that it’s going to be the likely option. This is not the First time we get Information about the LG G3. The phone that was leaked on Sprints website carries a model number LS990, which further confirms it’s the successor of the LG G2 (LS980 in North America). The file also states that the device will be running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
Stay Tuned as we will keep you updated on this.
