Game Center is an online multi-player social gaming network released by Apple for all of it’s customers. This is a quite popular among the Online Gamers.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, sources indicate that instead of having a standalone Game Center app, the scoring and ranking functionality will instead be found solely inside games that have integrated the social gaming feature. It is going to be simplified. Game Center previously received a makeover with the iOS 7 update, removing its green felt theme, for a more colourful UI.
It’s just one of the many features rumoured for iOS 8. Apple is also considering simplifying most UI Elements including the Notification Center, Voice Memos app, and enabling Car Play over wi-fi connections. It is said that Apple is also working hard to improve it Apple Maps with a Major revamp. We also saw the New Apps and the Screenshots of iOS 8 which leaked earlier this week. Of course, all of these changes are simply rumours until Apple makes an official announcement (Probably at WWDC)
What do you think about Apple’s plan to ditch Game Center in iOS 8? Do you want it to be like it is now or do you think integrating it will be good? Let us know in the comments section down below and as always stay tuned to Andro Dollar for the Latest in Tech.
