When producing the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, the Italian company made sure it was the most aggressive Murcielago variant ever offered. As a result, it featured a stunning redesigned carbon fiber front splitter as well as a thoroughly overhauled rear-end. As for the Lamborghini Aventador, it may only be in its third year of production, and the Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario is arguably already the equivalent of the Murcielago SV.
With 20 hp more on tap than the standard Aventador, the 50th Anniversario also features similar styling upgrades as the Murcielago SV albeit without the massive rear wing. However, unlike the SV, the 50th Anniversario is available as a Roadster and the following is without a doubt the very best we have ever seen.
Currently at Lamborghini Newport Beach, this Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 Roadster 50th Anniversario is believed to be the first finished in bright Rosso Mars along with matching red leather and red stitching inside.
As previously mentioned, the 50th Anniversario has a 720 hp rating from its 6.5 litre V12 engine. The changes are limited to an engine calibration. It now accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and will reach a top speed of 350 km/h. The aforementioned aerodynamic and visual changes are said to be 50 per cent more efficient than the standard Aventador bodywork.
