If you have the unlocked version or the developer edition of the HTC One, you’re in luck. HTC has tweeted out that the unlocked and developer editions of the One are starting to get the Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 5.5 update today. The US Carrier varients will receive the update in January Next year according to HTC.
We’ve already seen Sense 5.5 on the HTC One max, so we know that it has new BlinkFeed options including the important option to turn off BlickFeed if you want to. There are also a number of camera improvements, and other minor improvements. We won’t be getting the “Google Experience Launcher” since it’s going to be themed with Sense.
