The iPhone 6s is still brand new but that doesn’t stop the rumor mill to talk about the iPhone 7, which is going to be the next big flagship for Apple. We already heard some rumors about the iPhone 7 earlier, but this time around we hear more about the upcoming iDevice.
According to a report coming from TrendForce, which is a research company, the Next generation iPhone 7 will feature a Waterproof Body and also 3GB of Ram. These are supposed to be the defining new features of the next iPhones. There should also be a bigger “Plus” version of the iPhone 7, and if this report is true, these devices will be the first iPhones to be waterproof.
TrendForce also mentions that we could see a 4″ iPhone pretty soon, as early as Q2 next year and we can expect to see the iPhone 7 & 7 Plus in the latter part of 2016 in September. The new iPhones will be running on iOS 10.
TrendForce also estimates that Apple will sell 260 million iPhones next year, 12.5% more than in 2015. It won’t, however, manage to take the smartphone sales crown from Samsung, which is expected to move around 310 million units.
